My cat got wrong eye color!?

I have a kitten i got it 2 weeks ago. It's supposed to have brown eyes but it got blue. How can that be?

All kittens eyes are blue until about 4 weeks of age. Then they will gradually start changing into the color they are going to be permanently. My 3-4 week old kittens eyes are changing from blue to a green/brown color right now.

Cats changes eye color. I have a cat 2 and the same thing happened. I it had blue eyes and when it grew up they eye color changed into yellow. so the same thing would probably happen with your cat. Sine you say it's a kitten.

Since it's a kitten its eyes will still change colour. Most kittens have blue eyes that later become green or yellow. My cats eyes were blue and are now a bright green. When it gets a bit older its eyes should turn a different shade
