  1. It's best to leave some wet food around the kittens. You may want to add a little extra water to make sure that they can eat it, but when they're ready, they'll start weening themselves off.

My kitten was eating wet food all the time at 5 weeks old. It really depends on the kittens and the mother cat what they'll do.

  2. The mommy starts to ween them at about 6 weeks. You can start trying to give them soft foods now. If they're ready for it they'll eat it. If they're not ready they will be soon.

  3. The momma cat will bring them to the bowl with her when they're ready.

  4. kittens will start to want other food around 6 weeks old.  Leave the dry food out for them to watch and learn form mom.  Then a canned food such as 9 Lives can be put on your fingertip and put next to their mouth a few times.  They will not be too sure about this stuff at first, but will soon realize it is good stuff.

  5. If she had them one month, you should start weaning them now. If you need more help on how to do that just email me k

  6. leave out some food for them around thier area and they will start to eat it when they are ready. my kitten was found abandoned at 4 weeks...and at 7 weeks old she was litter and completely weened...so to give you an idea.

  7. about 7 to8 weeks start leaving food close to them and depending on mom they will eat it at sometime
