  1. Here's a link for some great pet recovery tips.

  2. My cat was gone for 3 weeks and came back so I'm sure yours will be back. Cats do that sometimes especially if the are not neutered.

  3. If he doesn't come back in the next few days, I would consider putting an ad in the newspaper for a lost cat. You may try to contact your local animal shelter to see if animal control or someone dropped him off there. Good luck, I hope you find him.

  4. When we lived in the city, our cat would sometime get stuck in someones'  garage and they would leave for a few days and when they got back he would come back.  We did lose one we never found; you should put up signs, check the local animal control (we did every four days, that how long they keep them before euthanizing them) and look around the neighborhood.  Now we live in the mountains, and if a cat or small dog does not come home, it's usually coyote or bobcat related - good luck and I hope you find your cat !

  5. my nans cat went missing for 4months but came back, we are sure he was stolen but he found his way back.

  6. Get out there and look for him every chance you get.  Do not give up.   I found a cat a few weeks ago by thelephy (mind to mind).  I read about it in a book called "Straight from the horse's mouth"  and "The language of miracles" byAmanda Kinkade.  She found Dr. Bernie Segal's cat Boo by using this technique.  I have only lost one cat in 50 yrs and I continued to look for him for two years but had to give up when people in the old neighborhood thought I was nuts.  Bood Luck!

  7. I feel your pain, mine disappeared on Saturday night :-( and still no sign.  But yes they do.

You need to get posters out, talk to neighbours, call vets and rescue centers and start looking in the sort of places a cat might like to hide.  If he's been hurt, he'll be looking for shelter.  The longer he might be without food the worse his chances.

Hopefully he's gone on an adventure - they are curious.  Or having a holiday round someone else's house.

Hope he turns up - because the not knowing if they are in trouble is horrible.
