I just brought my cat in from outside and she has foam coming from her mouth and what looks like an injured leg. She has an odd smell coming from either her mouth or wound. We have seen racoons in the area. She had her rabies shot very recently. The wound seems slight, she has had worse.

Is this something I should take action on tomorrow morning?

  1. yes! take her to the vet its better to be safe than sorry. bad odors usually mean infection

  2. she could have gotten attacked by a stray or racoon, i would take her to the vet even though she had a rabies shot.  the racoon could have infected her with something; rabies doesn't prevent viruses (like FELV) if she was attacked.

  3. i think you should take to the vet as soon as u can it sound bad but dont get worried they will very likly get her better in no time !! :)  :D

  4. THANK YOU FOR TAKING HER IMMEDIATELY. SHE ALSO COULD HAVE GOTTEN INTO SOME ANTI FREEZE OR POISON. YOUR VET WILL BE ABLE TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS.

GIVE YOUR BABY KISSES FOR ME.............

  5. take her right away! emergency vets are open all night! that is serious! ill pray for your kitty!

  6. VET NOW!  HUMAN DOCTOR NEXT!

Take cat and run, do not walk, to the nearest vet!

Then afterwards, take yourself to the doctor just in case some of the infection or rabies or whatever it is has managed to get into your system!

  7. RABIES?

  8. take the animal to the vet now now now the cat could be dead by morning. call a vet and get there emergency number

  9. take her to the vet you idiot tomorrow morning. . . if she's still alive!
