  1. Whatever you do, DONT listen to Sphen. He's just being a **** head and he obviously doesnt care for anything.

My cat used to get these strange calcium like lumps on his stomach. He always scratched and licked them, like your cat it sounds. After taking him to the vet I found out that it was actually just an allergic reaction to a particular plant we had in our front yard. They gave me this powder which I rubbed onto them each day and the bumps went away within a couple of weeks.

But in any case, even though your kitty doesnt like it, take her to a vet. They're there to help and they know more about these things than anyone else. If you're having difficulties, get a cat carrier and coax her to get into it (with food for example). Then close it and take her to the vet.

  2. I'm a vet and that definitely seems like cancer.  Your cat's going to die really soon.

  3. Sphen COULD be a real vet, but there are lots of idiots on this thing who like to pretend to know what they're talking about. If I where you I'd see a REAL vet that you KNOW isn't just some random person. If I found out my dog had as possibly serious problem, I wouldn't risk taking the advice of people on Yahoo answers. He could be the real deal, butwhy take that chance i you maight be able to fix it?

  4. well it may be something called hotspots,it is a reaction from a certail food,it will cause animal to itch until they drie out.to get them to dry out shave your cats back and look if they are red spots buy the cats something to go around itd neck so they can dry out and then scab up and then i will go away

    ITS ONLY A SUGGESTION!

  5. She could have fleas or possibly sensitive skin . Take her to the vet & get them to prescribe you something if no fleas are present.Or you could try a topical at a pet store.

  6. it sounds like an insect bite, i dont think that it is cancer. She may also have a skin allergic or is allergic to fleas, try malaseb to wash her, this will get rid of any fungal infections and aloveen will moisturise the dandruff.

It could also be an absess, these need to be puntured and antibiotics given.

  7. Your vet will give you a sedative to administer to your cat prior to any more office visits because an exam is necessary to determine your cat's condition.  Bottom line is never medicate your cat with over the counter human medicines and never self-diagnose.  Your vet went to 8 years of vet school for a reason and skin issues can be difficult to treat.
