  1. Maybe she wanted to be close to you or wanted to show her kittens off to you. Cats move their kittens all of the time. Just put the kittens back where they were.

  2. Aww!

It only means that she feels comfortable having her kittens near you. Don't do a thing.

Congratulations! You've become the kittens' god-parent!

  3. Maybe she was feeling too exposed in the spot she was in and is looking for somewhere safer where people won't touch her kittens

  4. maybe it's because you're always in that chair, making it a nice warm place to put her kittens.

  5. She probably wants them to be there, possibly because she wants them near you or she wants to be near everyone.  If it's safe there then let them stay, otherwise put them back and try to visit her at the box more often.

My girl did this when hers were old enough to be pretty mobile, except she stuck them next to my desk chair.  It scared me because I was afraid to step on one and wasn't overly thrilled to listen to the nursing while at my computer but it was fine.  Maybe she just knew they were too big for the box and wasn't impressed with the way we fenced them into their area.  I don't know, but it worked out fine and they adjusted immediately.

  6. If they're ok there, give her some bedding to make a nest. If you don't want them there, put the bedding in a closet or basket where she can make a nest.  She wants her kittens to be in the safest place possible and she feels that's near you. You must be a great guy.

  7. my cat did this last year, i think she was fed up of my kids always looking in her box.  i moved my chair forward and put the box behind it, and she was happy there, it was a dark and quiet spot for her.  id just leave her as thats where she wants to go.  i tried moving her and the kittens out, but she always put them back there. hope this helps.

  8. she might have just wanted you to know not to disturb her now she is moving to a safe place where she feels she had her litter will  be safe. just keep an eye on them but don't disturb them

  9. Cats move their kittens around until they find a spot they feel is the most secure for them.  When my cat had kittens, she did that all the time.  It's normal.  Just allow her to do it and move anything that may cause harm to her or the kittens.

  10. She sees you as a source of protection and is trusting you with her kittens. You are obviously a very loved cat-mom. If she takes the kittens back after a while then let her bring them to you whenever she chooses, if she is leaving them with you or bringing more and more across, put a box and blanket where they are and perhaps she will move the nursery permanently. She loves you and is using her trust in you as a protection for her babes. Good luck, being a kitty-granny is a lovely thing :)

  11. put the kittens back. she just moved them because she wants to be near both you and her babies, you may need to keep the door to the room with them in it shut and keep her in there most of the time, let her out when she wants out and put her back in after awhile.

  12. Your cat obviously feels very safe with you and trusts you with her kittens. I'd leave her a blanket on the chair so that if she wants to stay there she can but I wouldn't move the kittens, that's her job. She'll move the kittens round quite alot and that's normal. You don't have to do anything, she knows exactly what she needs to do!
