My cat has some type of worms

Question

i was lookin through my cats bed and i found some tiny tiny p**p particles and i saw where my kitten was itching at (under chin) and i found some alive and dead tiny tiny worms. It already has been dewormed from my vet. Should i be worried. The next time im going to the vet is Mon, 11 aug. And what kind of worms are those.?

Your cat will probably be OK between now and 4 days from now.  Just take a sample of the stool with you when you go.  It sometimes takes more than one deworming treatment to get rid of them.  Sounds like tapeworms, could be something different, though.  And not all worming treatments kill every type of worm, so maybe they just didn't use the right one for this particular type of worm.

Some worms can spread to humans, so keep the cat away from anywhere where you prepare food, and be careful when handling the f***s.

don't buy the grocery store stuff! go to a feed store for ranching and stuff...get that wormer. 18 bucks, kind of pricey and the cat hates it, but its worth every penney. go ahead if you can and buy another dose to hold back in case it happens again. nothing worse than that if the store isn't open and you can't get some until monday! also make sure nobody is giving the animal milk and that the animal is not flea ridden.

They are called tapeworm.They eat the food that are going to the intestines.

Sounds like tapeworms.  They get these from swallowing a flea...after you get your kitty dewormed you will need to put her on a good flea control or she will get them again.

just take a fecal sample in and they can do a fecal float to tell you what kind of worms and what you need to do
