Me and my girlfriend have been tracking the days of which our cat Lovey will be giving birth to her kittens. This is her first litter of kittens and she's not showing any signs. Two weekends ago on July 27th we came back from camping with friends for the weekend, Lovey had been showing signs of going into labor including throwing up, mild diarrhea, not eating or drinking, nesting, we took her rectal temperature and it was below 100 degrees for two days, and she didn't want us to touch her belly, she slept all the time, and wasn't affectionate like she normally is. But now she's eating heavily and drinking a lot. Her temperature is back to normal, she's acting like she was in her mid pregnancy (affectionate and hyper at times, but that's part of her personality), her stomach gets hard a lot, her nipples are bigger and filled with colostrum, she sleeps from time to time but her big belly makes her uncomfortable. I'm afraid of her postponing the labor because she's a small cat and if the kittens are too big they won't fit through the birth canal and we might have to get her a C-section. It's day 64 and she's not showing any signs of going into labor. What does this mean and will she give birth anytime soon?
