  1. He could have worms. If he eats a lot and still looks skinny, then he probably has worms.

  2. Our cat had this happen at 12 years old. It turned out to be thyroid. Vet sorted it out and he lived well until the age of nearly 17. Get him to the vets. Best of luck.

  3. At 7 yrs old he probably shouldn't be gaining weight. My parents cat is 17 yrs old and still only weighs 6 lbs. That's like a large kitten. She's a piggy too always wanting to eat but doesn't gain an ounce.

  4. You need to take him to the vet to see if he has cancer or anything else that is harming him.  Please tell us that you will???  Thanks

    Sincerely,

    Concerned cat mom.

  5. I am afraid your cat may have worms. Take it to the Vet and get it on deworming medication.

  6. Have him checked for hyperthyroidism.  My senior kitty developed symptoms at about age 9.  Her first symptoms were weight loss, hyperactivity, and drooling.

  7. He should have been to a vet when the issue started.  Witholding medical treatment when you know your cat is ill is animal cruelty.

  8. take him to the vet and see what they say and tell them how the cat has been doing

  9. Take cat to veterinarian.

Have bloodwork done.( FIV & Felv, thyroid, general health profile, cbc, check for worms.) Go from there.

A lot of old cats have an overactive thyroid.

  10. sounds like you got on of 'em bulemic cats. kill it.

  11. it could be that your cat might need to be wormed, if its coat feels harsh and it has smelly breath it probably has worms. hope your cat feels better soon
