My cat is constipated?

My cat is constipated :[

I don thave any pumpkin, or benifiber, and he wont eat any of the hairball treats i have, and its too late to go to the store and im scared it'll get bad overnight D:

Is there anything else i can do? castor oil is bad for cats, but is there anything else i could do tonight?

plain vasoline or petroleum jelly. it is the main ingredient in many cat lax products & may help get things moving a little. most cats like the taste of it, too. just offer it an amount about the size of your thumbnail or so, or put some on the cat's paws so it can be licked off when grooming.

however, if this an ongoing thing, the cat needs to go in to the vet if it goes more than a few days without having a bowel movement...or if it shows signs of being uncomfortable, in pain, won't eat or drink, has a fever, strains to go potty but can't or throws up. it may have an obstruction that needs prompt medical attention.

I don't know if there is anything out there you could give him without talking to a vet, call tomorrow.

i wouldn't worry about it, he probably just got a hold of something that didn't agree with him. it happens to my dogs
