  1. the kittens like it that way because the mommy cat is warm..

  2. everyone is right when they say, leave the kittens be, they are fine under the momma, and will soon find her *t***s* to start to suckle, they are blind so they move around alot which may make you think they are trying to get away. 2 weeks tho, i never could control myself for two weeks, they were in my hands the second day and have all turned out just fine *smiles.*

on the food and milk note, you can try to offer it to her, but shes a little busy right now and may not accept anything, she knew she would be having babies soon, trust me they always know when they are getting close, so she probably ate alot of food and drank alot of water right before she went into labor, best thing you can do for her is stick around, pet her and tell her what a good girl and good momma cat she is being, and have the food and water close by so when she is done, she doesnt have to leave her kittens for long to eat.

hope i helped, and congrats, kittens are the best things in the world to watch grow!

  3. Leave her on her own.. She'll be OK... And don't worry about her sitting on her kittens. The kittens get comfort by the mother's touch and the warmth of her body. I have experience from my own pet cat.

  4. yes they shauld be fine, dont touch the kittens for at least 2 weeks trust me on this..i think shed appreciate a drink of warm milk just hold the bowl for her so she doesnt hav to get of the kittens for a while she needs to stay on top of her kittens for a while as the coldest time in a kittens life is after birth the more time she spends on top of these kittens the better.
