My cat is in Systemic Shock after being Run-over by a Car?

My cat is shaking alot from the trauma of being run-over. I have seen my vet, who has booked a surgury slot on Thursday. My cat, Phoebie, has been shaking verybad, what should I do? I have already kept her warm with a towel, comforting her, ect. What can relax my cat from this trauma.

ummm... why is she scheduled for surgery? If she was hit by a car, then the vet shouldnt push that off. There's something just wrong there. My suggestion, is to consult another vet that can take care of her immiediately. She's probably in a lot of pain and meds via iv, and fluids would probably help her out much more. I would seriously consider getting ahold of another vet for a second opinion, or see if you have an emergency 24hr vet nearby to take her to. Good luck with your little darling!

I don't know what the h**l your vet was thinking.. please take her to an EMERGENCY vet for the surgery... I cannot believe that they scheduled her for surgery... it should be done right away.. If you don't have an emergency vet in your area you need to call around and ask other vets if you can get her in there TODAY

Take her to an emergency vet NOW.

Get her to an emergency vet NOW!  She's in shock and she needs IV fluids, diagnostic tests, and probably immediate surgery!  She can die within minutes from shock.  If your vet only made an appointment for two days away, then you did not make it clear that it's an EMERGENCY.

You really can't wait until Thursday for this surgery.  She needs it NOW!  

Get to a 24 hour emergency vet and say "She got run over and she needs surgery now!

Please update us on her condition!  I really hope she gets better!  Here's a star for you!!!

okay  ur cat didnt get ran over if it still is alive keep ur cat inside it is paroinoid and you have to relax it n take it to a new vett
