if she is heavily preg then its probably the start of labour and she will start active labour soon. If she is not at the end of her preg it could indicate a problem so have her checked- but if she is at the end of preg dont worry its just the start of the action & good luck!

If your cat has been pregnant for about 2 months, then the discharge is the mucus plug and amneotic fluid. This means the kits are coming soon. Prepare a soft dark place for mama cat. You will want to contain her in like a bathroom or the like. You want the heat to be about 85 or so for ther and the kits.

   If it has been about 62 days since she got pregnant she could be getting ready to have her kittens. If it is only about a month and a half i would take her to the vet to be sure all the kittens are alive inside her.

   If this is her first batch of kittens and you are very close to her she may want you to be around you. Prepare  a bed for her, when the time is getting close she will pace around, talk to her and walk over to her bed. If you have kids keep them away from her at this time, the less stress the better. Just sit beside her bed and pet her talking softly to keep her calm.

    If you think you can do this have some scott towels handy and a warm towel and as her babies are born let her l**k them but if she starts having another wipe the kitten gently to clean him up and them gently rub him with the towel and keep him close to her.

   I  bred Siamese  cats for years and it was always amazed me at how the mother reacted. Some were great moms, i had one that because one kitten was premature she just avoided him , kept putting him in the far corner of the play pen, so i became his human mom and took over feeding the little guy every two hours with a bottle. To this day he is closer to me than any of the others.

I think that's normal because that happened to my cat when she got pregnant.
