  1. no one here can give you the right answer but im sure the vet can do that

  2. It amazes me how people can sit at a computer asking stupid questions.about a "sick cat" when they should be sitting in their vets waiting to get the poor animal treated,

A 4 mth old kitten in that condition needs VETERINARY TREATMENT.And no its not a hair ball!!!!!!!

  3. Get him to the vet NOW . DON'T give him milk !!

  4. This is a very sick cat that needs to see the vet NOW!  I don't know what is wrong with your kitten, and nobody on this board will be able to give you a better answer.  I suspect your kitten wil probably die without proper veterinary care.

Also, giving milk to cats is bad, especially kittens.  They are lactose intolerant, and it will make them sick.

  5. he seems pretty sick...i think its best to try to get him to the vet...dont be scared by the people who say hes going to die...hes got some fight in him...all cats do...but try not to give him milk...and schedule a vet visit pretty soon

  6. The best thing you can do is take him to the vets seriousally its worth it...and it sounds like he has a hairball-if he is a long haired cat. Usually the hairball looks like a grey ball no matter what the hair colour it dosent actually look like hair, you should also get him wormed if he goes out a lot. There could be anything wrong with him really to make sure of what it is take him to the vets they can definitely tell you what is wrong.

  7. Hiya sorry to hear u cat is ill . cats don't Get aids/ hiv your thinking of feline leukaemia which is smiler .If u got the kitten vaccinated when he was six weeks he wont have this and even if you didn't do it know . It could also be cat flu cats get it if they haven't had their jabs . Idont know if it is a fur ball does he have long fur please take him to the vets asap also if u r on benefits u can call ur local pdsa it should be in yellow pages if u go to the pdsa its a small donation u need to give him wormer from the vats its relay good its only about 3quid also if he has fleas he could have worms. please do something fast if ur skint u might be able to pay in instalments  good luck I hope the kitten gets better soon .

  8. I am soo sorry your kitty is sick and lost his pop as well.  What a rough time :(

Don't ever give up hope.  But stop giving the milk.  Everyone knows you meant well and many people think it is a good idea.  But it does upset their stomachs.  It can actually cause either diarrhea or constipation - depending on the kitty.  Stick with warming up some soft kitten food for now or mashed tuna mixed into it just to help stimulate his taste.

And of course, always have the fresh water by him.

Hopefully he will be seeing the Vet today and I will keep you both in my prayers.  Good luck!!!

  9. There are so many different things that could be wrong - he really does need to see the vet.  And yes, one of the ways that FIV is passed to another cats is through s***n and blood, so kittens born to an FIV positive cat can very well have been born with the virus.  I'd suggest having the vet test him for both FeLV and FIV so that you are knowing what you are dealing with when discussing treatment options.

Sorry, but it probably isn't hairballs.

  10. take him to the vet mate, hes gonna die

  11. It might not be aids, but i would pop him down to the vets,  it could be something or nothing, but warm (or cold) milk wont be good for him either, if you want to give him milk, give him proper cat milk. EDIT>>> What exactly are you feeding him on?
