My cat is sick, what should I do!?

I have a cat who is less than a year old... (well, almost a year old) and he's sick. He won't eat when I try to feed him, he won't get up and walk around... and he feels really warm. He just lies in the same place without moving. I want to take him to the vet, but my parents say he's just tired and not actually sick so they won't take him... and I have no money so I can't take him myself. I don't know what to do, any help would be great please!!!! THANK YOU!!!

A cat that doesn't eat and won't move, that is unusual behavior which needs to be checked by vet right away. Please tell your parents that this is not normal behavior for a young cat, he may have swallowed something, or may be seriously ill. Talk to animal rescue centers, perhaps they can help you with cheaper vet rates, I don't know. But you must do something!

Tell your parents it is a crime to deny medical treatment to a sick animal. A cat who isn't eating, is feverish, and lethargic is very sick and needs vet care. Call the SPCA to come get him if they won't care for him. If they turn him over cooperatively, no charges will be pressed.

Your cat needs to see the vet immediately.

There are several ways that you can help it or else it will die:

- call the vet and let him come to your house if that's possible

- ask your parents for money and tell them it is a debt and you will return it

- use your future allowance

push your parents into taking him to the vet.

No he isn't what your parents say.

your cat could have parvo ,  and it if does . without a vet its dead ... so  if your parents are going to neglect the life of there kids pet  , if i was you . i would take it to the vet anyways . and get your pet treated .  and if your parents freak out .   just tell them ..    you did the most responcible thing you could think of  .  i know if my child went out of his way to do what he thought was right . i would be proud of him .    so . you know what the right thing to do is .  and even if you do get grounded .. you will feel good knowing what you did was the mature and kind thing to do

is he urinating? if not he could be blocked.
