Question:

My cat is trying to be the boss?!?

My cat is named Dr. Oscar and he's a 3 year old indoor cat. AT LEAST once a day he hops onto my boyfriends shoulders and lays down while my boyfriend is doing things around the house. He purrs and just stays up there until I take him off or my boyfriend ( walking crouched over) passes something he wants to be on. Oscar used to do the same to me, too. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? It's hilarious and cute- but what does it mean??

  1. LOL, thats cute.  Your cats very affectionate.  One of my cats is very affectionate and she also thinks shes the boss too.  She will steal the other 2 cats sleeping areas or has to eat or drink first.  LOL, shes too cute!

  3. i thought it was an affection thing, my cat does it to my dad and this other guy that lives with us but not me.. id like to know why 2

  4. Hilarious, isn't it?  We had one once who would do that to me, he seemed to like taking a tour around the house and then would leap off when he'd seen everything he wanted.

Your boyfriend's in luck it's not only you but Dr. Oscar who approves of him, which isn't always the case!

  5. Dogs have owners, cats have staff!   LOL
