My cat is weird?????

my cat is 6 1/2 years old and when you pet him in on his back he licks himself or someone or something which is very rare when he didn't do this?? any one know anything??

He's not weird, just unique.

he's playing and showing love to other people -- cats like to be clean he might have realized he missed a spot
