My cat is weird she crosses the steet and look both ways do u no how she learned that?

maybe ur cat is really smart and watches other ppl do that when they cross the street so she developed a habit of this sort

You know, I knew an old tomcat who would do that. He'd plant his butt on the edge of the road, look one way, look the other way, pause, and if nobody was coming he'd leisurely walk across. If there was a car coming, he'd just sit where he was and wait until it had gone by, he didn't even flinch--what a smart cat! But he was really old, I have no idea where he could have learned it from. I'd be interested in knowing where he learned it, too--I suppose a cat could learn this from a human, since cats can learn to open doors from watching people. It's still surprising to see it happen though!

Cats are very smart and observant. She probably saw you do it at some point and assumed that's what you're supposed to do. It's especially likely if you've had her since she was a kitten.

I'm basing that guess on how my two kittens have picked up many habits based on what they see me do including making sure their heads on a pillow if they sleep in the bed.

Just hope that is what she is doing.

Best bet is to keep cats inside, especially if you are near a high traffic street.

I lost my female a year ago when she was crossing my residential street, now, her brothers stay inside 24/7 and have adjusted nicely.
