My cat jumped in oil outside?

i used dawn soap on him and he still has some he is hard to get control of since hes only 5 months old so he was scratching me like heck when i used the soap and water so i gave up because i was bleeding but got most of it off except there is some on his ear and paw but not a lot hes a white cat so those areas look brownish now what should i do.

  1. Take him to the vet right away.  Well, not the vet.  The EMERGENCY animal hospital.  RIGHT now.  He could be killed if he licked it off.

    GOOO now.  Or before you go, call the animal poison control and ask their opinion.

  2. use some baking soda to help absorb the rest and brush it out, or use a towel to rub it out.

    try another go with the dawn.  But dont wash the whole cat, just his ears or where the oil residue is now with a wash cloth
