My cat just gave birth... how do i make the kittens not afraid of me and when?

my cat doesn't mind at all when i'm around her during this sensitive time but the kittens are disturbed.

Hang out with them and the mother cat, when the kittens see the mother cat is relaxed around you they'll learn that you're safe. Also, let the mother cat rub your face and your hands with her face - when they do this they leave a hormone on you that says to the kittens that you're OK. (it's the hormone that Feliway mimics)

don't do anything just yet,when the kittens start moving around and getting adventuresome u can pick them up .obviously the mum trusts u ,so will her babies.

My cat just had kittens about a month ago. At first the kittens were also afraid of me and my family too, but I would keep going and holding them and petting them at least four times a day. Now all four of my kittens love to be petted and held. Now they are running around like cazy. I hope I helped you out!

Start handling them gently but often. Wait about a week so Mom doesn't get upset. Get your Momma cat spayed so you don't have anymore. Kittens are so over bred. Good Luck!

well with our pups who are two weeks old after a few days the mum was ok with us touching them and we just picked them up cuddled them and patted them atleast once a day if not more now they are stil blind but walking and they reignise my voice and straight away come waddling over to say hello and have a cuddle.
