  1. Your question clearly shows that you're not interesting in these kittens futures, and don't want to be hassled by being concerned for their welfare.

Right now is the season for kittens, so everywhere is over-populated, unfortunately from owners that don't take animal ownership seriously and have their pets spayed or neutered.

And newsflash; giving your kittens away at the grocery store is not an acceptable place to find a home for them.  And giving them away for free will guarantee that they'll end up in a lab somewhere.

I suggest you try to contact a cat rescue organization that can rehome them for you and fix your problem.

45% of all cats born today are euthenized.  25% are found homes.  The remainder are either homeless or are sold to labratories where inhumane testing ensues.

And when it becomes breeding time for them, that number increases substantially.

If you wanted to do the right thing you would:

Get the mom and kittens to the vet, get their shots and confirm they're all healthy.

Learn how to interview and find homes for these kittens.  Confirm they have enough income for a pet, they know something about cats and provide a stable environment\home for them.

Spay and neuter all your remaining animals.  And if you're really serious, don't own any more.

  2. if you look on the internet for cats protection, they take in unwanted kittens and re home them, they don't just get dumped anywhere, whoever applies for a kitten, have to be checked, and then the cats protection will inspect there house.

  3. They need to stay with the mother for at least 8 weeks.

After that try a shelter or the local vet.

And you're going to get this a lot, but when you're taking them to the vet, maybe mommy cat should go along to get fixed up.

  4. Okay, you messed up. The problem is that animal shelters are packed with kittens no one wants and the ASPCA isn't getting the donations it requires to continue trying to fix others mistakes. You seem to care about these kittens so I suggest you take good care of them until you can find them a GOOD home. I must warn you that not all people are responsible. I had a next door neighbor that got a kitten (that was a bit too young to be taken away from its mother, but not much) for his sister - his mother said they could not keep it so instead of taking it back or trying to find it another home he just let it go. Thankfully my roommate heard it meowing and after about 15 min. decided to find out what was going on. She brought the kitten inside and tried to get it to eat a little tuna, it was so hungry and sad. We took it to the local SPCA because we already had four cats, two dogs, a koi pond and a saltwater fish tank - we couldn't take on anymore or we would have. Just please be very careful about who you send these kittens home with!

  5. Why would you take them to a grocery store?

    Why wasn't your cat fixed?

And WHY won't you take responsibility for something YOU messed up on?

DON'T WANT KITTENS? SPAY/NEUTER YOUR CAT!

Get those babies fixed up and then find them homes. It's the only responsible thing to do at this point. They can leave mom as early as 8 weeks old. So you have at least 2 months to go.

Suck it up and do what's right. Get them good forever homes and get your cat spayed!

  6. you could bring your kittens to a pet shop that you know and trust well. make sure you find out how much they sell them for cause the more expensive, the more they care. and just ask questions about where they keep them and stuff. :-)
