My cat keeps puking on the carpet?

I have not changed his diet so I do not think it is a nutritional thing. I have not cleaned his litter box in several weeks. Do you think he keeps puking because he smells his own turds?

Could be that he has hair balls too, brush him once everyday

not cleaning his litter is completely unsanitary for yourself and the cat.  do you have any idea how much bacteria is in that litter box?  clean that first.  then, you might want to get used to the idea of him puking, cats do that.  they have to gets pounds of fur off of them, how else do you think it's going to leave their bodies?  you can get food with a hairball remedy, so to speak.  you can also buy hairball medicine at any pet store.

LOL! no, he's probably puking because he has hairballs. Make sure you are brushing him on a regular basis - should cut down on it. But some cats just puke...

I actually had this same thing happen to me a year ago.  I cleaned the litter box and the cat stopped puking.  It used to drive me nutz because she used to always puke outside my bedroom door.

Clean the box and the cat will prob stop puking.
