  1. You think it's mean??  Wont it be more humane than your mom killing him??  That's the most ridiculous thing I have heard!  GET HIM NEUTERED!

  2. mean? its mean not to. theres no other way. unaltered male cats mark. you wont stop it any other way sorry.

  3. My cat did the same thing before he got neutered. Now that he is neutered he hasn't sprayed again! Good luck trying to find another solution, because most male cats will do that until you neuter them.

And don't worry it's not mean to neuter your cat. They actually become more tranquil and of course won't spray the house anymore! Also, there is no chance of him making other cats pregnant. Meaning there will be less stray little kittens! You will be doing more good then harm by neutering your cat.

  4. its not mean to neuter him. just do it

  5. Unless you get him neutered, he's going to continue to spray.  That's what unneutered male cats do - their hormones make them very territorial, and they spray everything so that it's marked with their scent.  It is NOT mean to get a male cat neutered - it's better for his health, and prevents the deaths of many unwanted kittens in shelters.  And if your mom gets rid of him by taking him to the shelter, he's probably going to be euthanized since there are so many, many kittens now that no one wants the adults.  So - which is meaner - getting him neutered or having him die in the shelter?

  6. Maybe this will help you with your cat spraying problem. http://cat-spray.blogspot.com  You can train your cat to stay off the furniture and control Cat spraying.  There is even a link in the site that can help you train your cat to use a human toilet.(for real) Theres even video proof!!  Hope this Helps.

  7. yup you need to nuter him. thats what happened whe i first got my cat, so we nutered him and then he stopped peeing all over the house.

    THATS THE ONLY WAY! :)

  8. GET HIM NEUTERED! I had a male cat that freakin' sprayed on EVERYTHING. He did it in my purse even. I had to throw everything, including the purse, away. Even my DL still had that terrible smell after I washed it 5-6 times. I got mine neutered and he hasn't done it since. He really doesn't even know he's been "clipped" and acts the same, except for the rank smelling pee is gone and we're all happy!

  9. Neutering him may not do anything. Of course, it's always a good idea.

My cat's been neutered about 9 years and he still sprays. There's not much i can do about it.
