  1. Let it sleep in the bathtub

  2. I have tow kittens, and I have the same problem with one of them,

I ask their dr about this, and she told me it's normal for kittens but I should teach to pee in their box, she said first I shoul use newspaper around the home to teach them to pee on them, and then in her box...

  3. you need to take your kitty to the vet to get a clean bill of health.  Inappropriate elimination screams there is something wrong in the kitty's world.  You say she is intimidated by the other cats - so that could be it, but where as she is 19, health issues can pop up at the drop of a hat - and stress can bring them on.

and get your kitty a litter box.

congrats on having a 19 yr old kitty!

  4. Get her a kitty litter box, and bring her to it so she gets familiar and comfortable with it. Keep introducing her to the box, let her sniff around and stuff until she gets the idea that she can go do her business in there.

As for your bed.... I would suggest you get a new mattress with sheets and lock your door so that she can't pee on your bed anymore.

  5. hello, I have trained my almost 2 months old kittens to their litter box just 3 weeks ago, before that their mother was cleaning their waste. I introduced them constantly. Now, they have no problem using the litter box.Be consistent with her about using the box. Do not holla at your cat just give her a firm NO each time she goes on the bed.

  6. Catch him/her when he/she does it and place in the litter box. You have to let them know it's unacceptable behaviour and as cats are very independent it may take several tries before they realize they must use the litter box. My cat did it too and after several "trips" to the litter box he realized that's where he was supposed to use the restroom.

  7. try and train her to pee in one of those little cat litter trays. other than that i dont know

  8. This was our biggest problem because the smell is almost impossible to get rid of. I found a Static mat that works on a 9 volt battery. It is a clear running mat that when they step on it, they will get a small shock. It is just enough to keep them off. We were thinking of getting rid of our cats because, we tried Sprays, and other deterrents. THIS WAS THE ONLY SOLUTION THAT ACTUALLY WORKED. called Scatmat It comes in different sizes. I purchased it on line from PETSMART.com
