My cat licked raw chicken! Will he get sick or die?

I was getting ready to cook a raw chicken breast and had it sitting on a plate on my kitchen counter. The phone rang and I walked away for about two minutes or so. When I got back, my 11 month old cat was up on the counter l*****g the chicken breast! Yuck! Will he get sick or die from this?? My vet's office is closed so I can't call them.

No, your cat will not get sick nor die. He will be fine. Cats in the wild eat much worse things than raw chicken. Just make sure he doesn't eat anything else really bad for him. Like bread, or butter. (My cat eats those things.) So just keep an eye on him. But there is no need to worry. =)
