My cat lost all of her hair ..?

but its just on her tail...shes 11 years old. I dont know if its her age or if it could be because my German Shepard stresses her out all of the time .. any help

It could be both. Have the vet to check her old to make sure there are no health issues.

here are a few of the reasons this might happen:

-Fleas, Ticks and Allergies.

-Ringworm

-Endocrine Alopecia - Hormonal hair loss in cats.

-Psychogenic Alopecia.

If you are worried call your vet and ask advice, she might have had a reaction to something, but I am sure stress could cause this too.

i'm thinking that it's because of her stress. try to avoid ur dog to bug ur cat since she has reached the senior age. and take her to a vet to get check ups. or it might be the skin problem.

could be transient alopecia one of my kittens lost all fur on his body when we used frontline this is what my vet said no more frontline on any of my cats. flea sprays can cause alopecia.

This happened to my very furry Maine Coon kitty. She developed a flea allergy!  She was an indoor cat who got out and stayed the night out. I guess she picked up some fleas in the bushes and grass.Once we got that cleared up, she was fine. But the poor baby lost all her hair except on her face and tip of her tail. It did grow back though.  Take your kitty to the vet and see...
