My year old female calico, loves to attack my feet and legs while i walk, and if I'm sitting on the couch she will just jump me and bite me. she only dose this to me, no one else. Sometimes se seems to go alittle far with the bitting and the clawing thou , the only thing i cant figure out is if shes just trying to play with me or what. at night I'm the only person she will sleep with and she only cuddles with me, is she just really lonely?

  1. She's just being a young cat, my cats do that too, if anything it's a sign of affection, she's choosing you to play with over everyone else!

I think you should get another cat! So if your cat gets lonely, it will have a friend to play with!

  2. She is playing.  If she hated you, she wouldn't cuddle.  If she is getting a little rough, try to replace your foot with a toy.  Cats get rough with other cats when they play fight.  You can try hissing at her or making a loud sound if she gets too rough.

  3. she just wants your love and attention!

  4. Sounds like your cat really wants to play! You may want to consider getting some toys like a feather on a string/pole and play with her. That way she'll learn to attack something other than your feet, and she can get some exercise at the same time.

  5. my cat does the same exact thing and is the same age

when she does it to you you feel it as hurting but the cat thinks

as it of playing with you my cat doesn't stop doing it to me alot when i

have strings or any thing hanging from my clothes.when she does it get some toys and play around with as she is doing

  6. She loves you... my kitten does the same thing. He will freak on me, then love me. They are just trying to play...

  7. I agree with the others...she loves you.  if she hated you she would spit at you and basically would have nothing to do with you.

so it is a mixed blessing

    :)
