My cat picked up a sponge that had comet on it...is he okay?

Question

My kitten put a sponge that had been used ( but was now dry) to clean my bath that i had used comet on....is he going to be okay health wise? i am seriously concerned.... help asap

It's bleach that is the culprit and I seriously doubt he got enough for any kind of problem.  He will be ok, but I know how you feel.  Since it was dry there was probably nothing to taste even.

he should be fine...just watch him closely. if he doesn't seem any different within a half hour he'll be fine. If he just held it in his mouth he should be fine...if he ate the sponge, thats a different story. But since you said he just held it in his mouth, i have a feeling it just tasted like c**p :) Dont worry:)
