whenever i hold him he tends to, without fail!, put his paw on my mouth he doesn't push out but i thought its a bit strange since theres times where he could have steadied himself on my arm or something he'd rather put his paw on my mouth!

any ideas why? maybe we'll never know but what do you think?

  1. by nature, wild cats trap with their paws and attack with their jaws; and expect threats to come the same way from other animals. So if he is uncomfortable with you holding him, he may be reassuring himself by putting a barrier between him and your mouth

  2. you might talk too much

  3. yeh cats do tend to do that its just one of their weird traits they have ;)

  4. Yeah my cat does the same thing!!..its really weird

i'm not sure why he does it either hmm..

  5. LOL

1.HE'S MAYBE SAYING "MUMMY SHUT UP!,PUT ME DOWN I WANT TO PLAY'! LOL

  6. haha maybe he thinks you talk to much lol

  7. Cats have pretty good hearing, maybe our high voices just hurt their ears?

  8. I am pretty sure cats do that to show affection. He loves you, that's why. My cat does it too, and it's so sweet.

If he ever rubs his whiskers on you, it's because he's marking you with his scent, it's like he's saying you're his. :)

  9. My cat does this to me also!  I think maybe its a sign of affection or a sign that he is claiming you.  Cats think they are superior to us!
