I live in the mountains and have all kinds of wild life outside my house. But my cat really seems exited when the mountain lions are outside. It seems like she likes them. I don't see any harm and letting her out to play with them they are just big cat's anyway

  1. Yeah, its a good idea IF YOU WANT HER TO GET EATEN!  Seriously, if there are mountain lions in your area, coyotes, wolves, anything that big and a predator, DO NOT LET YOUR CAT OUT.  She will probably get eaten by something that huge.  They might just 'be big cats', but they are NOT domesticated big cats... they are WILD.  You wouldn't want to raise one of their kittens because they can turn on you, no matter how long they're exposed to humans.

Bottom line, KEEP THAT CAT INDOORS!!!

  2. h**l no. would you go play with them? "they are just big cats."

mountain lions eat cats. I mean, go ahead and let her play with them if you're down with that...

  3. YOUR A TERRIBLE OWNER!!!

  4. I'm sure they're LOVE for your kitty to come outside and play with them, too. Don't let her outside if there's any sort of predator around. They wont think "Oh, look, another cat!" They'll think she looks like dinner.

  5. cats dont recognize size. thats probebly y your kitty wants to play with them. but DO NOT let her. It only takes once for them to scratch her, and shes dead.  To be on the safe side, dont.

If it really seems like she wants to...maybe talk to a vet.

  6. NO!!! POOR KITTY!

big things eat little things. even if its their own species.they dont no that so they'll eat watever. keep ur kitty safe!

  7. Yeah, let the kitty go outside and play with the mountain lions! What's the worst that could happen? They eat ur cat and then u have no more puss.

If I was u, I keep my beloved pet in the house where its safe!

  8. Animals do not recognize size.  But size does matter...   TeeHee.  Keep your kitty inside.

  9. Nope Dennis, You should leave him inside because they'll probably end up hurting your kitty.

  10. yeah.....she might want to play with them, but ti them she would be an easy meal.  if you love your cat keep her inside. get another kitty for her to play with or buy a stuffed animal that looks like a mountain lion for her to play with.

  11. No matter how the mountain lions would accept her (but i have serious doubt that they would be friendly, since they don't like other felines in their territory, especially if they come close and act "aggressively", what would be cetainly your cat's case) remember, that wild animals aren't used to interact with domesticated species - the lion would kill your cat with a single swing of it's paw, even if it tried to play, because it doesn't know what will it cause. So NEVER!!! expose your animals to wildlife unless you want to have it killed.
