  1. Take them to a vet. It's possible that whatever you did was too strong for their skin.

  2. You either put too much or your cat's skin is very sensitive. Take the cat to a vet.

  3. WHY do people insist on flea dipping their pets? There are far safer alternatives out there. Your cat needs to go to the vet immediately. It could have been too strong for his skin. Your vet can give you medication to ease the discomfort, and can tell you further instructions.

Dawn soap is much safer and milder for skin, and will clean and kill fleas.

After bathing in dish soap, you MUST put it on a flea preventative like Frontline Plus. This will protect from flea infestations.

If you don't want to bathe the cat first, then buy a Capstar to kill the adult fleas on it, and then use Frontline to control the egg population.

Please be a responsible pet owner. After all, your cat depends on you for its health.
