She was ok in the morning and then I did some hoovering. Ive had her for 9 years,, so she's used to that. However, whilst I was still hoovering she started to sniff everything, to the extent that she was climbing on things she had never been on before, going all on the kitchen worktops, sniffing the bread bin, getting in the bath, following the line of the walls and doorways. She was like she was in a trance and woldnt respond to anything. Normally if I come near her when Im hoovering she will run out the way, however, she was in that much of a trance, that she ignored the hoover near her. She carried on well after I had stopped hoovering and I closed a lot of doors in the house so she wouldnt keep wandering around sniffing things and so the only room she could get into, she walked round and round in circles with her head on the floor sniffing. She started to look exhausted, because by this time she had been doing it for about 3 hours. Later on she stopped but was subdued and didnt eat her dinner.
Today she is fine but I was really worried about her. She is diabetic and has insulin twice a day. She was also sick during the 'sniffing' episode.
What do you think this was all about??
