he's showing you both that he loves you or he's telling you he's hungry also if he's l*****g you that's probably his way telling you he's hungry cause my cat does that every morning i cant even get any sleep!!

aww, my kitty does this too. one of my old cats, when he was a kitten, would sleep there and knead my head with him sharp claws. ouch! hah.

Cats do the funniest things... I don't let mine on my pillows because his fuzz irritates my eyes but he likes to snuggle up next to me when I go to bed. I stand my pillows up when I make the bed in the morning so it doesn't entice him to sleep on them. Then I bought him his own little beds and pillows (fleece rings from Petco and pillows from Dr Foster & Smith online) so he tends to sleep there otherwise. I love it when my cats wants to snuggle up with me. It tells me I'm a good momma and he loves me!

A cat is at their most vulnerable when they are sleeping. This is a sign of total trust. Also your scent is the strongest at your face. If you nuzzle and kiss your cat he likes to be in the closest place possible to get this loving. If you watch a momma cat and a kitten they are in each other face all they time. A kitten will put it's face up to be washed and nuzzled. You are the mom and he is your baby.
