I just came form my vet with the same problem for my 4 year old male cat. He said that there is no easy answer, but seems nuerologically related. His temp was fine and bloodtest all came back normal, but he said without a mri or catscan which would cost upward of 3,000 dollars all we can do is treat the symptoms and see if we cant make him at least feel better. He gave him a long term shot of cortizone to see if the anti-inflammatory properties help him in walking better. I hope so! I would hate to see this cat go after only 4 years!
