My cat, Harry, is very old (70) and sleeps alot, anyway, but recently he was in a fight and had a fairly big cut in front of his ear. He appears sleepy, and not his usual self. Should I be worried, and take him to the vet?

  1. Yes, take him to the vet as soon as possible. Cat scratches can easily get infected. Any time your cat is acting in an unusual manner it's usually time for a vet visit because cats don't usually show they are

sick until they are really, really sick.

  2. Yes, you should bring him to the vet. He may have an infection, and if it is infected he will more than likely have a fever which will cause him to sleep and lay around a lot. The sooner you get him to the vet, the better.

  3. yes get the poor cat to the vet.  and quit letting him outside to get injured or worse.

  4. Depends, is he vaccinated, was the other cat a stray?

  5. take him to a vet he will know good luck
