My cat watches TV????

Question

Does your cat INTENTLY watch tv too??? She particularly likes the miniscule insect animations they sometimes play on commercial breaks on The Disney Channel. It's effin hilarious she's like, "WTF?!" lolz

ANOTHER QUESTION:

How come my girl cat loves watching TV but my boy cat doesn't see what's on the TV no matter how hard I try to get him to watch it?

Your male cat CAN see what's on the TV. He just doesn't care. He recognizes it as not real, or at least nothing he can get to.

One of our cats especially like to watch ice hockey on tv. If the game was really good she'd get on top of the tv and try to grab the puck! LOL

If something comes on the tv that moves very fast or it is a closeup of a bird or a squirrel that is moving fast my cats will stop and watch it. They will try to move around the tv to see if the bird or whatever is behind the tv. They lose interest quickly though. Also if they hear

a dog bark on tv and it is loud they will get stressed and start looking around wondering where the dog is.

Yeah, some of mine like it, some ignore it completely.  Maybe some like to pretend the things on tv are huntable and some just don't care. IDK.

When one of mine was a kitten he used to look around behind the tv to try to find out where all this stuff really was.  And when I was a kid one of our kitties would get up to the tv when I was playing video games and paw at the little character.  Sort of distracting but very cute.

I was so upset when my cable company took away animal planet.  That was a general favorite channel for them.  Although sometimes I'll play youtube cat videos to tease them a little, it doesn't upset them but it does seem to confuse them a little.

My older female cat doesn't care about the TV. My younger female cat sometimes notices it, but usually it doesn't hold her attention for too long. My dog on the other hand will sit there and watch it for 5 minutes or more.

Your other cat probably doesn't watch it because that's just who he is. Everyone is different, and so is every cat.

My cat actually is super scared of the tv. Especially like an action movie. He never really looked or cared for the tv until I picked him up and showed him. Then he got scared. I think maybe male cats don't like tv as much as female cats.
