  1. Actually this is an uncommon anxiety in neutered male cats. I referenced it in my feline behavior book by Bonnie Beaver, DVM.

Go to your vet and talk to them about anxiety medications for your cat.

I actually had that problem with a neutered male in my house. Every time I would sit down to watch TV he would come and hump my lap.

  2. Hmmm...I have to admit that's kind of awkward...but still a normal situation. I'd recommend you walk away, but never withdraw, just keep moving forward. If that doesn't work then move your leg in a kicking motion towards the dog, not touching it though, and don't worry or be afraid or back down as the dog will sense this. AND...if all that doesn't work, then spray your pants with a perfume that the dog won't appreciate, just make sure it doesn't l**k or over-inhale it.

  3. Get a squirt bottle and fill it up with water. Every time he try's to um...hump your leg...just squirt him. Not in the face!!!!!

  4. I think he is trying to establish dominance over you. Don't let him get away with this. Don't hurt him, but squirt water at him or something like that when he does this. Hopefully he will stop. Either that or he needs therapy.

  5. I truly have never heard of a cat doing this, it has always been a male dog. Try the spray bottle with water, give him a little squirt he'll figure out that he shouldn't do this.

  6. get him a toy he can hump on

  7. just cuz hes neutered doesnt mean he doesnt still get that urge sometimes lol

  8. My cat has never done that to me or my family but he does that to his blanket.
