My cat will not do no2 in her litter tray anymore.

Question

We have a 2 year old cat, and since we have adopted her she has been using her litter tray. But the last coulpe of weeks she goes and does no. 1 in the litter tray and hops out and does no 2 on the floor. Can anybody help me, why is she doing this?

you could try changing her litter kind...my cats do the same thing if i dont get a different kind of litter

Some cats seem to prefer to have 2 litter boxes and are quite fussy about cleanliness.  

Litter box problems can often be a sign of illness, so a check up with your vet would be a good idea.

And, if your girl has not been spayed then it's time!
