So I am stuck taking care of a bunch of kitties because my mom is gone for 3 weeks. One of my mother cats had 5 babies and one wasn't feeding so my mom put it with the other mother cat before she left. That baby passed away yesterday :( Now I have four little ones left and their mother isn't feeding them. Only one of them will drink the kitty milk from a little saucer and none of them will drink from a dropper. I even tried feeding them wet food. What can I do? They are skinny and I don't need another one passing away. :( Please help.

  1. ewwww!!! I hate cats. lol. My sister had some and they always went in my room and slept on my pillow!

anyway, when the cat had kittens (one of the many times) the mom wasn't feeding them so my sister fed them with an eye dropper like thingy. Check the pet supply store.

The story ended badly for 2 of the 3 kittens. One morning we came down to find the mother eating one who had died during the night for breakfast.

  2. a momma cat of ours had the kittens then got hit by a car a day later. we bottle fed them using kitty formula. they are older and healthy now. just keep trying.

  3. take them to a shelter immediately or to the vet... they are not being nurturedd and need their nutrients ... if you do not they will all die and that will be your fault not the mother's. If you have any compassion for these little guys you will give them to someone who can help them as oppose to allowing them to become really thin andmalnutrition-edd and inevitably die. please seek outside help.. these babies are suffering terribly ... they need all the nutrient they can get at this critical period of their lives...

i wish THEM all the best!!!

  4. Can you hold the mom and MAKE HER FEED THEM?

otherwise the dropper / or geat a bottle and feed them ... they have to be fed every 2 or 3 hrs.  the nipple they sell with the bottles (looks like this U )  arn't easy for the babies to eat from... so get the long skinny ones.   They seem to allow the kitten to eat more easily.

You can call a local vet and ask if they might know of a suragate mom that might feed them

TELL YOUR MOM TO GET THESE CATS SPAYED... they don't need more litters!

SHE MUST BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER!
