Question:

My cat won't stop meowing.

Ok, I have a male cat (Leo) who is generally well-behaved. For some reason he gets to meowing and won't stop. We've tried squirting him with a water gun and playing with him. We don't want to just start giving him attention whenever he does it for fear of spoiling him. He isn't neutered but we have a spayed female here. It's really trying our nerves, especially when he wakes us up with it. Plus, our landlords don't know we have them and don't want them to find out and have to pay $400.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

  1. I would suggest neutering him, because even though the female is spayed, the male isn't. This could cause him to try and attract mates. He might be trying to tell you he's sick, so a check-up at the vet couldn't hurt.

  2. he might be trying to lead u some were?

my cat meows a lot too, usually she'll lead me too what she wants, then shes good once i take care of it. i understand if u think its a bad habit too get in too. but maybe its because hes not fixed, might be a male thing?

im noting really sure, i just dont want to c u lose ur cats. but i hope it helps

  3. he's trying to tell you something. he may be bored. don't worry about spoiling your cat. it wont happen. they are too independent. ive had my cat ashley for 8 years and she still decides when i get attention and i showered her with it as a kitten. so hold him and pet him and thank god its just a cat and not a crying baby,

  4. Throw a boot at him.

  5. well he can hear other females who are on heat calling out to all the toms so i would get him desexed or he can get alot of sickness

  6. male cats do that a lot. I would have him neutered unless you want your eardrums to start bleeding.

  7. thats why cats are annoying! but you should try getting him fixed
