Are cat Smokey we Hd for awhile... He never drooled. We had him for 6 years. Well, when we moved we couldn't have any animals so we gave him to my dad. My dad wasn't taking care of him right for about a month or two. He would leave him outside.he would feed him but I dont think he would give him any water so he was probably drinking nasty water. We eventually moved out of our house to move into something else that can take animals for the poor cat. We then took him away from my dad. Ever since my dad had him for thoes couple months he just hasn't stopped drooling. I'm not trying to be gross about it but it would drool none stop like sink water leaking. (I dont know any other way to describe it) Is there something outside that could of gave him this? Maybe it wasn't even from outside... Please tell me what it might be with PROOF. (like a website or something)

Help me out please!!!

  4. Drooling can occur for a number of reasons in cats. Probably the most commonly identified reasons are gum or teeth disorders. Oral ulcers can sometimes cause excessive salivation. Problems that lead to nausea, such as renal failure or gastrointestinal disease also cause excessive salivation. Some cats salivate excessively when they are nervous or stressed. This is a common reaction to oral medications and application of flea control products, too. Your vet can help sort through these possibilities and hopefully find a treatable cause.

  6. possiably he has a bad tooth...no proof  but i work as a vet tech with a BD would be my guess
