My cats are very nervous and jumpie they run for everything i cant even clean them or cut there nails

Question

i cant give them anything cause they wont let me i bought something that is suspose to go in there mouth so i put it in the water bowl didnt work they will lay with me in the bed i pet them but the min i try and clean there eyes or anything they run one is 3 the other is 4 its always been like this i had another cat for 20yrs i did everything with that cat no problem i dont know what to do someone help please

You can buy cat pheromones at pet stores that should help them calm down.

Mine are too. I have tricked my kitties in to not minding my nail clipper I keep the kittys nail clippers by my tv table, when one jumps up for loving, I give her a few rubs and pats, then bring over the clippers and pertent to clip I really just let her see it and touch it to her toes. After a few weeks of this she sits there longer and longer and knows its not going to hurt her. This worked very well.. takes time but its the best way. Make sure you only clip the little curve that is sharpe at the end to avoid cutting the quick, keep some stop bleed if you have to cut the nails to be safe.. but if you do cut too low  you will have to start the entire process over again like above till she sees it wont hurt her.. goodluck
