  1. Eye problems can go bad fast! I would take her to a vet today.

Sounds like it may be her third eyelid that is swollen - this can result do to things such as stress/trauma or infection.  Usually this is self-limiting and will resolve on its own - called Horner's Syndrome. The eye also will look droopy on that side and the pupil will be small.

I would still take her to the vet.

  2. i agree, get to the vet to be sure

  3. please please go to the vet wit her .the vert can give u eye drops and eye washes etc.....to help !!!gd luck b.t.w dats not normal

  4. Uh if it wasn't like that before then it's mostly not normal. Take her to the vet immediately.

  5. Vet vet vet!!!

Why do pet owners always come on here when there is clearly something wrong with their pet???

    Don't have a pet if you can't afford the vet's fee's.

  6. this happened to one of my cats a while back but it got a bit weepy and crusty, if that happens rub a bit of cold tea on it to removes the crustiness and helps with the swelling

    hope this helps

  7. Hiya,

It deppends if the eye is cloudy if so then you may want to take her to the vets to get it checked out if not leave it a day then if it is worse i reccomend that u take her to the vet!

    hope i helped x.

  8. one of my old cats eyes swelled up and were pink around the edges, she had to go to the vet and get pills and also cream that has to put directly across her eye from corner to corner. turned out she had a herpes flare. 99% of cats have feline herpes but not all of them actually have problems with it, she did, do to stress and some other things, when it happened again i had to do more cream and more pills...... and then... about 7 months later, she died, actually from leukemia, even though she had been vaccinated for it somehow, she still had it and she was only 3 years old. so my advice is get your cat to the vet NOW. it could be blindness but it could be something else. you won't know unless you get your cat to a doctor.

  9. The poor cat :( take her to the vet!!! aww!

  10. Please seek the Professional Advice of your Vet over your Cat's Eye problem as soon as possible ! You would not want your Cat's Eyesight to be permanently affected in any way would you ? I have 4 Cats !

  11. My dogs eye does this.  I forgot what it is called or what causes it, but take her to the vet the will give you some med for her.
