Question:

My cats in apartment complex

I have two cats in apartment. They use litter box inside and I let them roam outside only during the day. My neighbor is 30 and relies on his mom for lots of things due to his condition. He pretended he liked them at first and then got himself a dog. All was well. I started noticing whenever I would talk in passing he would mention cat fights and noises. When I would try to explain it was not my cats he would get defensive. So, I pulled away from him. Yesterday I ran into him and he told me his dog was sick with upset stomach so he kept him in his crate all night. I asked if he had called his mom and he said 'yes'.

I asked what was wrong and his first response was, ‘he may have ate cat poop’. To me that was passive aggressive in that his first response was to blame my cats. Am I wrong?

  1. It's time to bring your cats inside permanently.  They will be much safer and healthier.  And, you will not need to worry about your neighbor.

    Good Luck!

  2. I agree with Spike and Co, don't give him anything to complain about .  Your cats will be perfectly happy inside.
