My cats skin is gross?

it is really flaky and there is a ton of dandruff. and her always mats. should we shave her ? or is there any home rem ides for her?

Give her baths.  Brushing her fur every single day.  It sounds like she doesn't like to groom herself.  One of my cats doesn't groom himself often enough.

My cat has gross skin too.  His skin gets all lumpy and has scars.  He obsessively licks himself and bites himself a lot, and we tried everything.  We tried a thing we put on him to stop l*****g himself and it didn't work, we tried to get him to stop it when we saw him, but nothing worked.  So we took him to the vet and she said that he was probably allergic to something and that's why he did it, and she gave him a cortisone shot (it doesn't hurt like the human ones) and he was fine for half a year, his skin totally cleared up which is great only needing that one shot.  So take her to the vet, and they will be able to tell you why

DO NOT SHAVE HER!!!!!!!!

take her to the VETS ASAP!! he could have allergies or ticks/fleas!!

my cat is allergic to everything from plants to flys to food to carpets!

please don't shave him you could make it worse just take her to the vets!

also if your cats hair is always matted why dont you groom her everyday?? she might be really uncomfortable!
