My cats traveling fear?

when ever i take my cat (who is 4 months old) he refuses to eat, drink, or use the bathroom until we are in a house where i can set up his things in his normal manner. *i adopted him at 6 weeks*, is this normal or would it have something to do with his past owner? i really don't want him to be fat or unhealthy...

no it is normal some cats do this others don't have a fear others will just sit down and relax but they are not fearful of the ride they are just uneasy of going away from home my cats had the same problem all you have to do is go to the vet and ask for a pill the will calm her/him down so you will have a nice ride and he will to.
