My ceiling fan WONT WORK!! i know now that its not the fan. its the wires running to it.What do I do?

Call a different electrician then.  Unless you are qualified to rewire according to the NEC (National Electrical Code), you may only manage to mess things up totally, or possibly kill yourself or others in a fire.

Was it running before with no problem?

If so then check the wall switch that turns it on first by flicking it up and down fast,it mat be dusty inside.

If thats ok then check the pull chain switch to see if it is ok.Also make sure the reverse switch has not moved by clicking it a couple of times back and forth.

If all that fails you have to check by taking down the fan to see if a wire fell off such as a neutral or a hot wire .But when you do that shut the power down so you dont get hurt.

If all that fails Please call an electrician.
