My cell phone fell in the toilet!!! help!!?

Question

my cell phone fell in the toilet and i think it shut off,

i immediatly took out the battery and blow dried

it on the cool settin for about 10 min. it is sitting in a bowl

of rice right now...

what do i do next!!!?????

Just put battery back in phone.. Leave it on charger and try to turn it on in 6 to 12 hours... its happened to me several times.

My mom does this all the time and she just disassembles the phone, leaves it in a dry place, and the next day its good as new.

if its all dried out it mite work, but that amount of water could have cause the chips to start to corrode, take it to the place you bought it and ask if they could fix it if doesnt turn back on

worst case is u need a new phone, yr sim card will be fine

Well, If you put any water or things with water in it it wont work. So might as well say goodbay to it :)

Why did you put it in a bowl of rice?

Anyways, I spilled alcohol on my phone once, and it took a couple of days for it to totally dry out. Then it started working again.

I could turn my phone on but I could only talk to people if they were on speaker phone because the ear phone had gotten the brunt of the wet damage.

Does your phone turn on at all?

you should dry it off as fast as you can then put it back together and don't blow dry it because you might overheat the wires. Then put it in a bowl of rice to absorb the water and leave it on or you may find yourself witha dud battery
