My cell phone has a text message box at the top of the screen, but I don't have any unread texts?

Question

It won't go away even when I get a new text message. That little unread text message box is in the top right hand corner of my screen and won't go away. It is a motorola At&T phone.

tip number 1:;  go to a at&t store and ask!!

tip number 2: leave it alone and maybe it will go away!!

i bet it just sits there!

I think it sits there if you have any messages(period.)

If you want it gone it seems you'll have to empty your inbox.

Check you picture message inbox also and make sure there is nothing in there and also check and make sure you do not have anything in a draft folder
