Question:

My chainsaw won't work.?

I'm having issues with my chainsaw, and I can't seem to get any help.

About several months ago - I cut down my cherry tree.

Today, I wanted to cut down a pine tree that is half the width of the cherry tree - and once the chainsaw gets to the center of the trunk.. it doesn't cut further - as if it has no power.

There's plenty of gas - so that can't be the issue.

What else could it be?

  1. The teeth might need to be sharpened.

Have you tried rolling the tree over to see if you can cut from the other side?

  2. if you are just cutting straight thru without wedges it may be pinching the chain when you get to the halfway point...
